Improve your Strike Rate using our Unique Horse Racing Ratings and Statistics
Fed up with trawling through the Formbook?
With the ukracestats ratings you can see all the vital form at a glance in a single colour coded excel spreadsheet highlighting all the
vital statistics.
In addition, you get Collateral Ratings, Speed Ratings (Flat only) and computer calculated odds for each runner.
Use the ratings to cut out the losing bets
No more throwing your money away on the 6/4 handicap snip when the trainer has a 0-30 run at the track or the odds on favourite with the
poor sire statistics on today's ground. Instead, you can use the ratings to your advantage by laying the same horses on the betting exchanges.
With Ukracestats Ratings you can instantly identify
Going and Distance Requirements
You can easily view each horse's record on all types of going and over each distance. If you are unsure then you can also see
the pedigree statistics which show the record of each sire's progeny going and distance record.
The Trainers Course Record
The ratings show the win/runs ratio at the track by race type. Profitable trainer trends are shown in bold. With these statistics
alone you can identify many long priced winners.
When a trainer is likely to hit form
Many trainers have winners all year round but many have a discernable pattern which you can follow year after year. Backing all
Ian Semple's runners in Feb, June, July and August would have yielded over 200 points profit in recent years. However, his record in
September shows a 105 point loss and an overall strike rate of just 2%.
Significant Jockey Bookings
Ever wondered if a trainer's jockey booking is significant. The ratings show the wins/runs ratio and profitability for each
combination for each runners. Again profitable combinations are shown in bold.
The likely Race Fitness of each Horse
Find out which horses need a break and which not to touch after more than 28 days off the track and those which only win when returned to
the track within a few days.
The time of year when a horse is most likely to run well
Some horses only win at the same time of year. The veteran handicapper Tony Tie has won his fair share of races over the years but
has a very modest record of 0-25 before June. Viewforth has a similar
profile 0-18. He's gone off at at less than 6/1 on each of his first four runs this season.
The trainer's ability to train unraced or lightly raced horses
Some trainers are adept at preparing a two or three year old to be ready first time out and some prefer to leave something to
work on. Mick Easterby as 2-132 record with 2 year old debutants in recent years and 0-59 with first time out 3 year olds.
If a horse likely to require a strong pace and if it is likely to get it?
Many horses can maintain a good cruising speed but lack acceleration. Rooster Booster is one such example and goes best in a large
field. You can view each horse's record in fields of less than 10 runners, 10 - 15 runners and greater than 15 runners. The ratings also
include a pace indicator showing which horses are likely to lead and which are likely to be held up.
Use the Ratings to
Build a profile of each horse in the race.
With the ratings you can identify the ideal conditions for each horse and only bet when you know for certain
that all the conditions are in your favour. To give an example, Since 1999 Calcutta has won 12 races from 74 outings. All but one of those wins was on Good/Firm or Firm
ground and never before May. All wins have been within 40 days of his previous run and he has a greater than 50% strike rate when
returning within 7 days (6-11). His record in races with 16 runners or more is 0-36 and he has never won at a bigger price than 8/1
(0-35 when unfancied). 11 out of 12 wins have been on a galloping track
